One of the key participants of the event was <a href=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/team\/andrij-romanchuk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrii Romanchuk<\/a>, Attorney at Law and Senior Partner at EUCONLAW Group, who moderated the conference and presented a report on \u201cRunning a business in Poland: tax, legal aspects and new trends\u201d.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During his presentation, Andrii spoke in detail about the key tax rates in Poland, namely<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>VAT: 23%, 8%, 5%, 0%.<\/li>\n<li>CIT (corporate income tax): 19% or 9% (plus minimum tax).<\/li>\n<li>Estonian CIT: a special model of profit taxation.<\/li>\n<li>PIT (personal income tax): 12% or 32%.<\/li>\n<li>PCC (civil law transaction tax): 0.1% to 6%, depending on the decision of the Council of Ministers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Andrii drew attention to the fact that only certified tax advisers can conduct tax consultations in Poland, and violation of this rule may result in a fine of PLN 50,000.<\/p>\n<p>Andrii also outlined the main challenges faced by businesses when entering the Polish market:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work-life balance.<\/li>\n<li>Differences in business practices between markets.<\/li>\n<li>Logistical and immigration issues.<\/li>\n<li>Difficulties in remote business management if owners or managers are located outside Poland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In conclusion, Andrii Romanchuk emphasised that successful entry into the Polish market requires not only knowledge of the law, but also adaptation to local realities and a professional approach.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fotorama\" data-allowfullscreen=\"true\" data-nav=\"thumbs\">\n<img src=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/img_1170-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<img src=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-1-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<img src=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/thumbnail_img_1182-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 11 December 2024, the InvestPro Warsaw 2024 conference organised by Bosco Conference took place in Warsaw.
