Managing partner of International Legal Center EUCON, President of the Tax Advisers Association of Ukraine Yaroslav Romanchuk, together with members of the Association discussed future tax reform prepared by the Government with Elena Makeyeva, the Deputy Minister of Finance. The event was held on September 22, 2015 in one of the hotels in Kyiv.<\/p>\n

Elena Makeyeva spoke about the procedure of drafting the law, the format of involving experts and businesses to the discussion and planned changes for further development.<\/p>\n

Managing partner of International Legal Center EUCON Yaroslav Romanchuk focused on the structural aspects of the reform, as well as the required improvements in tax administration measures.<\/p>\n

Larysa Vrublevska, Partner, Head of the Transfer Pricing practice in International Legal Center EUCON, presented an alternative vision of reforming the income tax developed by a group of experts.<\/p>\n

Danil Getmantsev, a member of the Association, PhD in Law, Professor of the Department of Financial Law of the National Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University, focused attention on reforming the simplified taxation system.<\/p>\n

In the end of the event Yaroslav Romanchuk announced that the Tax Advisers Association will continue to participate actively in the preparation and discussion of tax reform. In this regard, meetings with the authors of alternative draft laws on reforming the tax system (Nina Yuzhanina, the Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Taxation and Customs Policy, and Andrii Zhurzhii, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee) will be held in the nearest future.<\/p>\n
