Presentation and discussion of the alternative tax reform concept by the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy Andrii Zhurzhii<\/strong> together with the Tax Advisers Association was held on October 5, 2015.<\/p>\n

President of the Association, managing partner of International Legal Center EUCON Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/strong>, who is a member of the expert group headed by A. Zhurzhii, presented a part of the concept which regards structural reforms and improvement of tax administration.<\/p>\n

The main positions of the concept were outlined by Andrii Zhurzhii:<\/p>\n

1) reform of the State Fiscal Service;<\/p>\n

2) elimination of the tax police;<\/p>\n

3) reform of the taxation system in order to create favorable conditions for economic development.<\/p>\n

Larysa Vrublevska<\/strong>, Partner, Head of Transfer Pricing practice of the International \u00a0Legal Center EUCON, presented the concept of alternative income tax reform developed by the group of experts. She explained the nature and advantages of implementing regulations that would replace current income tax with distributed profits tax and abolish advance payments at the same time. These measures will increase the working capital of companies.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event Yaroslav Romanchuk announced that the Tax Advisors Association will continue to participate actively in the preparation and discussion of tax reform. The next meeting is planned to be held with the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy Nina Yuzhanina.<\/p>\n
