{"id":18542,"date":"2015-11-26T19:15:29","date_gmt":"2015-11-26T17:15:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/iii-international-forum-polish-business-day-2\/"},"modified":"2015-11-26T19:15:29","modified_gmt":"2015-11-26T17:15:29","slug":"iii-international-forum-polish-business-day-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/iii-international-forum-polish-business-day-2\/","title":{"rendered":"III International Forum \u201cPolish Business Day\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the III International Forum &#8220;Polish Business Day&#8221; that took place in Kyiv on November 26, 2015 showed the strengthening of Polish-Ukrainian relations. 325 participants, including business representatives, who are interested in the EU markets, registered to take part in the forum.<\/p>\n<p>The forum was held under the patronage of the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The forum was organized by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International Legal Center EUCON;<\/li>\n<li>International Audit Union;<\/li>\n<li>Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Co-organizers of the forum:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International Society of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukrbizpol.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ukrainian Business Association in Poland<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine.trade.gov.pl\/pl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trade and Investment Promotion Section of Polish Embassy in Kyiv<\/a>, as a co-organizer of the event, provided a great assistance in the organization of the forum.<\/p>\n<p>At the opening of the forum <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/team\/partners\/yaroslav-romanchuk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/a><\/strong>, managing partner of the International Legal Center EUCON, president of the Ukrainian Business Association in Poland, Vice-President of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce said that holding the event for the third time proves its relevance. Experience shows that Poland offers one of the most profitable (in the EU) formats for companies which develop business projects and create jobs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bartosz Musyalovich<\/strong>, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of Polish Embassy in Kyiv, as a co-organizer of the event congratulated the participants with the beginning of the forum and wished everyone a fruitful work. He expressed positive expectations regarding the development of economic cooperation, noting that after a period of regression and crisis, comes growth of economic activity and, therefore, an increase in trade turnover between our countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uk.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%A8%D0%BB%D0%B0%D0%BF%D0%B0%D0%BA_%D0%9E%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B4%D1%80_%D0%92%D1%96%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%96%D0%B9%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B8%D1%87\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oleksandr Shlapak<\/a><\/strong>, the former Minister of Economy, president of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce stressed the importance of ongoing dialogue between government and businesses of both countries.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine <strong><a href=\"\/Users\/Office\/Downloads\/N_Mykolska_CV%20(1).pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nataliya Mykolska<\/a><\/strong> drew attention to the shortcomings of export policy of Ukraine in the last few years.<\/p>\n<p>The forum was also attended by the First Deputy Minister of the Republic of Poland, regional development and EU funds expert <strong>Jerzy Kwiecinski<\/strong>. He stressed that Ukraine is a very important economic partner of Poland and promised to promote and support the Ukrainian investors, who decided to start their own business in Poland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3945\" src=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-2.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"849\" height=\"566\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The investment attractiveness of Poland through the prism of its different regions was also discussed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/team\/partners\/igor-yatsenko\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Igor Yatsenko<\/a><\/strong>, head of Warsaw office of EUCON, introduced the speakers, representatives of the cities of Lublin, Lodz, Kielce, Gdansk, Pionki, \u015awi\u0119tokrzyskie Province and pointed out that the local authorities in Poland are extremely open to cooperation with investors and provide their full assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Counsel in international corporate and tax law of ILC EUCON <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/team\/counsels\/andrii-romanchuk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrii Romanchuk<\/a><\/strong> spoke about the stages of establishing a company in Poland. In particular, he explained the registration procedure of LLC, which is one of the most common forms of business.<\/p>\n<p>Senior partner of International Legal Center EUCON <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/team\/partners\/tetyana-samsina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tatiana Samsina<\/a><\/strong> explained some migration issues, including visa applications,\u00a0 steps to applying for a temporary and permanent residence in Poland etc.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the forum, Yaroslav Romanchuk thanked all the participants and asked\u00a0 them to provide some comments and suggestions to improve the format of the next \u00a0forums.
