On April 20<\/strong>, 2016 at the meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy<\/a>, the complaint of Savik Shuster Studi<\/strong>o<\/strong><\/a> regarding the pressure by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and unlawful actions its officials was reviewed. The attorney of Savik Shuster Studio LLC<\/a><\/strong>, managing partner of the International Legal Center EUCON<\/a> Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/a><\/strong> voiced the documented facts of illegal actions and decisions of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine regarding conduction of the inspection and procedure of its results registration.<\/p>\n

The attorney of Savik Shuster Studio<\/strong> LLC<\/strong>, counsel of the International Legal Center EUCON Yevgen Petrenko<\/a><\/strong> explained all the circumstances which became the basis for criminal proceeding against Savik Shuster Studio<\/a><\/strong>. In addition, despite the fact that today lawyers are challenging the tax notices-decisions on the previous inspection in 2015, the tax authorities have initiated a new inspection of the company and currently send improper requests for information and documents. Such actions of the tax authorities can be considered as additional pressure on the production studio and its management.<\/p>\n

During the meeting of the Committee it was decided to appeal to the Prime Minister of Ukraine V<\/strong>olodymyr Gro<\/strong>ysman<\/strong><\/a> in order to initiate hearings on violations by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine officials.<\/p>\n
