{"id":18902,"date":"2018-09-28T12:46:51","date_gmt":"2018-09-28T09:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/prospects-for-the-development-of-the-transport-system-of-ukraine-became-the-topic-of-discussion-of-the-21st-international-conference-on-transport-and-logistics-in-odesa\/"},"modified":"2018-09-28T12:46:51","modified_gmt":"2018-09-28T09:46:51","slug":"prospects-for-the-development-of-the-transport-system-of-ukraine-became-the-topic-of-discussion-of-the-21st-international-conference-on-transport-and-logistics-in-odesa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/prospects-for-the-development-of-the-transport-system-of-ukraine-became-the-topic-of-discussion-of-the-21st-international-conference-on-transport-and-logistics-in-odesa\/","title":{"rendered":"Prospects for the development of the transport system of Ukraine became the topic of discussion of the 21st International Conference on Transport and Logistics in Odesa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On <\/strong><strong>September 26-27, 2018<\/strong>, political leaders, state officials and business representatives discussed the Challenges and Prospects for the Development of the Transport System at the <strong>21st International Transport and Logistics Conference in Odesa, <\/strong>which was held in accordance with the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Plan. <strong><em>Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/em><\/strong>, <em>t<\/em><em>he <\/em><em>M<\/em><em>anaging <\/em><em>P<\/em><em>artner of the EUCON <\/em><em>Law<\/em><em> Group, <\/em><em>the <\/em><em>President of the Association of Ukrainian Business in Poland <\/em>also became the participant of the conference.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/42696552_2261521464129947_3632805891553624064_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8647\" src=\"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/42696552_2261521464129947_3632805891553624064_n.jpg\" alt=\"42696552_2261521464129947_3632805891553624064_n\" width=\"960\" height=\"960\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Romanchuk during the <em>first section, \u201cProspects for Ukraine&#8217;s Transport Infrastructure Development, Legislative Initiatives, and Investment Projects\u201d<\/em> spoke about Poland&#8217;s prospects of becoming an offshore alternative for corporate business structuring and tax planning. Thus, the speaker described the content of the BEPS plan and its overall structure, expectations, forecasts and prospects for its implementation in Ukrainian laws, particularly on the minimum standard (implementation of the main 4 out of 15 steps), which Ukraine committed itself to implement within the framework of BEPS. Also, the expert identified the main consequences of BEPS for Ukraine: the \u201cend\u201d of the offshore era, the era of banking secrecy and the ability to open an account in \u201cdecent\u201d jurisdiction, strengthening control over the reporting process. Mr. Romanchuk also identified the main advantages of Poland as an alternative to offshore, particularly, a convenient strategic location, an attractive labor market, favorable conditions for investment and a developed business environment. The speaker emphasized that Poland &#8211; the most successful beneficiary of funding from the EU funds in 2014-2020, indicated the main conditions for obtaining an investment loan in a Polish bank and brought arguments in favor of the attractiveness of the Polish market for foreign investors.<\/p>\n<p>Among <strong><em>other participants <\/em><\/strong>of the conference there were: <strong><em>Dmytro Petrenko<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 the \u00a0Head of the State Service for Marine and River Transport of Ukraine, <strong><em>Volodymyr Rabotnev<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, <strong><em>Andriy Shklyar<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 the Head of Expert Center for Transport Strategies, <strong><em>Daniel Jacques<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 the Transport Manager of the Ukrainian Support Group of the Embassy of the European Union, <strong><em>Istvan Heinzinger<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 the Senior Economist of the Transport Sector of the European Investment Bank and others.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 26-27, 2018, political leaders, state officials and business representatives discussed the Challenges and Prospects for the Development of the Transport System at the 21st International Transport and Logistics Conference in Odesa, which was held in accordance with the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Plan.
