{"id":18977,"date":"2019-09-23T14:21:09","date_gmt":"2019-09-23T11:21:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/yaroslav-romanchuk-became-the-speaker-of-the-national-forum-international-taxation-business-transformation\/"},"modified":"2019-09-23T14:21:09","modified_gmt":"2019-09-23T11:21:09","slug":"yaroslav-romanchuk-became-the-speaker-of-the-national-forum-international-taxation-business-transformation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euconlaw.com\/en\/yaroslav-romanchuk-became-the-speaker-of-the-national-forum-international-taxation-business-transformation\/","title":{"rendered":"Yaroslav Romanchuk became the speaker of the national forum \u00abInternational taxation: business transformation\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On September 20, 2019,<\/strong> the National Forum <strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>International Taxation: Business Transformation<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong> was held in Kyiv, the speaker of which was <strong><em>Y<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>aroslav Romanchuk,<\/em><\/strong> attorney-at-law, the managing partner of the EUCON Legal Group.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the second session, dedicated to TP and BEPS as a tool of transparency, <strong><em>Y<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>aroslav Romanchuk<\/em><\/strong> spoke about the risks involved in operations with low tax jurisdictions, noting that European jurisdictions, including Poland, could be an alternative to business structuring.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Yaroslav Romanchuk stressed that the choice of jurisdiction should analyze the jurisdiction in the \u201cblack\u201d\/\u201cgray\u201d lists of EU, effective rates of tax on passive and other income, the presence of TP and \u00a0CEC rules, the existence of a convention on avoidance of double taxation others aspects. The expert emphasized that with the implementation of the BEPS plan, the offshore era came to an end, which meant dramatic changes in both national and international taxation.
