On the 20th<\/sup> of October in Kyiv <\/strong>there was opened Rail EXPO 2021<\/strong>,<\/strong> V International Exhibition of Promgruz informational service. It is the main railway event in B2B format that combines wide and narrow gauges.<\/p>\n

Within this event there was a conference \u201cRElink: Ukrainian link connecting the world\u201d where Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/strong>, EUCON Managing Partner took the floor. During the conference there were discussed issues of integration of Ukrainian railways into the EU system, formation of competitive transport corridors and international transport and logistics projects.<\/p>\n

Among other things Yaroslav Romanchuk focused on alternative solutions to the problems of transport corridors between Ukraine and Poland. Thus, according to the speaker, it is rational to use the railway connection between the Ukrainian Kovel and the Polish Chelm for goods transportation so that to unload the highways. This is mutually beneficial for both countries from the economic point of view and from the logistical point of view as well. So, it is the best option for trade to use this particular section of the railway due to the geographical location of the cities and the availability of connections between them by a wide gauge.<\/p>\n
