On October 4<\/strong>, the Foreign Trade Bureau in Kyiv of the <\/strong>PAIH<\/strong> organized in Warsaw<\/strong> business breakfasts “Work experience of Ukrainian business in Poland” <\/strong>and “Work experience of Polish investors in Ukraine”<\/strong>, during which a meeting was held with the secretary of the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Halyna Yanchenko<\/em><\/strong>. Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/em><\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Ukrainian Business in Poland, became a participant in the events.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Business breakfasts were organized by PAIH to establish a dialogue between government and business representatives to optimize and make effective the processes of receiving feedback and presenting new initiatives from the government to promote business.<\/p>\n

The event participants were<\/em> Karol Kubitsa<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 head of the Foreign Trade Bureau in Kyiv, PAIH; Oleksandra Ilyashenko<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 head of the Diia.Business.Warsaw consulting center; Tetyana Chuzha<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 project manager of the PAIH Export Center; Evelina Badziak<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 coordinator of the PAIH Polish Aid project; Artem Karvan<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 manager of the PAIH Investment Center, as well as representatives of Ukrainian companies who are residents of Cowork-Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The participants of the business breakfast “Experience of Ukrainian business in Poland”<\/strong> discussed the problems faced by Ukrainian business during\/after the relocation to Poland, the peculiarities of doing business in wartime conditions, the impact of the war on the import\/export of goods and services between Ukraine and EU countries, in particular with Poland.<\/p>\n

Within the block “Experience of relocation and investments of Ukrainian business in Poland”<\/em>, Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/em><\/strong> presented the content, main goals, and directions of activity of the Association of Ukrainian Business in Poland, in particular in terms of support and consolidation of Ukrainian business on Polish territory, shared his experience in supporting companies in the process of relocation, and also described the stages, conditions, challenges, and problems currently faced by Ukrainian entrepreneurs within the limits of relocation in wartime conditions. Mr. Yaroslav did not miss the urgent issue of determining tax residency for Ukrainian citizens residing in Poland, having analyzed the peculiarities of Ukrainian and Polish legislation.<\/p>\n

During the business breakfast “Work Experience of Polish Investors in Ukraine”,<\/em><\/strong> representatives of organizations and businesses had the opportunity to discuss with<\/p>\n

H<\/em><\/strong>alina Yanchenko<\/em><\/strong> the problems of Polish investors in Ukraine, preparation for projects for the reconstruction of Ukraine, proposals for improving the business support infrastructure and the Ukrainian investment climate, as well as specific opportunities for cooperation of Polish business with the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
