Attorney, the managing partner of EUCON, Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/strong><\/em>, became a speaker at the International Conference “Cluster Cooperation in Sustainable Regional Development”<\/strong>, which takes place on June 5-7 in Lviv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, Lviv Polytechnic, Ukrainian “Club of Mayors”, Polish clusters of composite materials and sustainable infrastructure, German agency Gruener Hering and Lesser Poland Voivodeship from Krakow<\/strong> jointly organized this event to develop a joint program of interregional cooperation and future recovery between clusters and regional communities of Ukraine, Poland and other countries.<\/p>\n

During the conference, the participants exchanged business experience, discussed urgent issues related to regional development, presented their activities and visited the industrial park in Horodok, which is designed for clusters, business associations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), regional authorities, agencies of the regional development of Ukraine, Eastern and Central European countries.<\/p>\n

During his speech, Yaroslav Romanchuk<\/strong><\/em> focused attention on the fact that Polish business is interested in taking part in the reconstruction of Ukraine, so a list of Polish companies that are ready to join is being formed today. In such conditions, it is extremely necessary to create logistics hubs both in Ukraine and in Poland, for the delivery of construction equipment and materials, because it is the logistics industry that will become key in the context of increasing the pace of cooperation.<\/p>\n

Separately, the speaker singled out the problems of Polish business, in particular, the lack of governmental problems to participate in reconstruction, Ukraine’s “homework” at the state level to harmonize legislation and promising areas for cooperation.<\/p>\n

Yaroslav Romanchuk noted that in today’s context, the issue of environmental protection and the readiness of Ukrainian businesses in this context is extremely important.<\/p>\n

No less painful aspect, according to the expert, is human capital, because today the urgent tasks are to motivate Ukrainians to return, to socialize demobilized military personnel by providing them with psychological support and jobs, as well as to develop a reasonable integration policy to attract labour resources from abroad.<\/p>\n
