In his speech, he outlined what Ukrainian business should be ready for a successful partnership, focusing on the key aspects that determine investors&#8217; decisions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Co-investment.<\/strong> Foreign investors are usually willing to cooperate only if the business partner owns a certain percentage of their own funds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reputation<\/strong> as a key factor. Checking the reputation of co-owners, top managers and partners is a must for investors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Corporate structure and management.<\/strong> Foreign partners expect a intelligible corporate structure, a clear management system and often want to participate directly in decision-making.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Capitalization of assets.<\/strong> Often the assets offered by co-owners are undercapitalized or overvalued.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial intelligibility.<\/strong> Effective management accounting and a clear understanding of financial processes are the basic requirements for potential partners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal support.<\/strong> Foreign investors expect the involvement of independent legal advisers and intelligibility in the procedure of using and managing investment resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yaroslav had emphasized that cooperation with foreign investors requires Ukrainian business to be thoroughly prepared, comply with international standards, and be intelligible in conducting business.
