On April 13, 2016 the Third International Tax Forum, organized by Yurydychna Praktyka weekly, took place in Kyiv. International Legal Center EUCON traditionally became the general partner of the forum.
Yaroslav Romanchuk, the managing partner of EUCON, attorney, took part in the forum. In the framework of the first panel he initiated a discussion on international tax regulations and the impact of global trends in tax control on the Ukrainian business. The discussion was also attended by Maksym Moklyak, Acting Chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in 2015, director of the Coordination and Monitoring Department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in 2014-2015; Ireneusz Prokurat, expert in tax services (Poland); Grigol Katamadze, president of the Association of Taxpayers. During the discussion, considerable attention was devoted to implementation of the BEPS plan, automatic information exchange and the consequences of the recent events in the context of offshore crisis.
During the second session, which was devoted to specific features of tax regimes in European jurisdictions, Yaroslav Romanchuk spoke not only about the business taxation in Poland, but also shared experiences on actual use of Polish Special Economic Zones’ benefits by the Ukrainian companies.
Larysa Vrublevska, the Head of transfer pricing practice at EUCON, shared information on the first practice of inspections and some tips for the algorithm of transfer pricing risk analysis. In addition, she provided some recommendations on preparing high-quality transfer pricing documentation.
