Auditor, Partner, Head of Transfer Pricing practice of International Legal Center EUCON Larysa Vrublevska took part in one of the largest business events of October CFO Forum of Ukraine.
More than 250 top managers participated in the forum to discuss the ways of developing business and financial functions in terms of economic instability. The event was held on October 22-23, 2015 in Kyiv.
At the invitation of the organizers, Larysa Vrublevska presented one of the most important topics for medium and large businesses which have foreign economic activity – transfer pricing. She spoke about the key features of transfer pricing based on the latest legislative changes in Ukraine. Larysa drew attention to the fact that changes to the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are planned to be adopted within the BEPS Project (tax base erosion and withdrawal of income from taxation) in November 2015 during the G20 summit. In particular, usage of “substance over form” doctrine when determining the actual terms of economic operation is going to be implemented. The possibility of applying the concept of “economic ownership” for intangible assets is also being discussed.
