A claim was filed by Vostok to the State Tax Inspection in Solomenskiy district of the Main Department of STI in Kyiv on the revocation of tax notice-decisions, estimated tax liabilities on CPT and VAT in the amount of UAH 2.3 mln.
The taxpayer was being charged by tax authority with unreasonably understatement of tax liabilities in transactions arising from the purchase of accounting services by outsourcing company. This conclusion of the tax inspection was formulated on the basis that there was no link between costs incurred and the company’s business activities.
The cassation appeal of tax inspection against the decision of the court of appeal was dismissed by the High Administrative Court of Ukraine, thus the decision of the court of appeal was upheld.
