Practical aspects of business relocation to Poland in the context of access to financial resources: Yaroslav Romanchuk became a speaker at the conference “AGRO&FMCG of Ukraine as a strategic direction of development in the world”

Financial instruments from Poland and the EU available for business, the attractiveness of the Polish market for investors and the peculiarities of relocation: lawyer, managing partner of EUCON Yaroslav Romanchuk became a speaker at the conference “AGRO&FMCG of Ukraine as a strategic direction of development in the world”, which took place on September 28 in Warsaw. Organizers of the event – Best Business Network – Ukrainian-European Business Hub for business, which promotes and ensures effective partnerships and collaborations.

Conference participants focused on discussing legal, financial and strategic issues in the fields of agribusiness and FMCG through the prism of practical experience of experts.

Within the framework of the topic “Business relocation in Poland and practical aspects of access to finances and financial instruments of the EU”, Yaroslav Romanchuk told the participants how attractive the labor market in Poland is, what are the advantages of its strategic location, what are the favorable conditions for investment and how exactly is the developed business environment .

The speaker focused in more detail on the analysis of human resources in Poland and the attractiveness of the Polish market for foreign investors, including such factors as: special economic zones, industrial and technological parks, state grants, structural programs, access to financial resources, state export lending, cheap bank loans, certain tax benefits.

According to the expert, attention should be paid to the possibility of using financial instruments in Poland in the context of the planned EU allocation of 160 billion euros during 2021-2027, of which 125 billion will be allocated for additional financing, and 35 billion. – for loans.
Yaroslav Romanchuk reviewed in detail the terms and content of the Regional Aid Package in Poland as a tool for supporting new investors. Mr. Jarosław also highlighted the advantages of cooperation with such Polish development institutions as ARP (investment and restructuring), PAIH (trade and investment), BGK (banking), KUKE (insurance), PARP (entrepreneurship), which offer a number of programs and financial instruments for relocation, support and business development.

The expert analyzed the types of fundraising (FFF, Business Angel, VC Funds, Crowdfunding, Mezzanine Funds, Private Equity Funds, IPO), detailed the stages, methods (registration of a new company, representation, redomicilation), costs, consequences, advantages and disadvantages of relocation of business from Ukraine to Poland (through the prism of each of the methods, focused on each of the types of legal forms of doing business in Poland, in particular on their advantages and disadvantages.

Yaroslav Romanchuk listed the main tax rates in Poland, outlined the realities of the process of paying taxes by legal entities in Poland (in the context of the type of legal form of doing business), talked about the functioning of the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and its features, in particular, the features of paying taxes in the context of residency, declaration of income received abroad. The speaker did not miss the issue of taxation through the prism of the implemented BEPS plan and its consequences. Also important is the point regarding the categories of taxpayers in Poland, as well as the start of the operation of the CRS system in Ukraine and the extension of the tax amnesty period.

The speaker talked about the activities of the Ukrainian Business Hub in Warsaw and the range of services and opportunities that the hub provides to Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
