On February 5, 2015 a seminar “ Tax innovations 2015: practical applications by accounting services ” took place i n the Polish Embassy in Ukraine . The target group for this seminar included accounting and financial service representatives of the Polish -owned companies. The speakers were specialists of the International Legal Center EUCON and representatives of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. The main purpose of the event was to familiarize the audience with innovations and make recommendation relating to the practical application of the legislati ve provision in the following spheres: tax compromise, transfer pricing, electronic administration of VAT and corporate profit tax .
The seminar took place under the co operation with the Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the International Ass oci ation of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine and with the support of Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy.
T he conference participants had an opportunity to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of tax compromise , get acquainted with the latest changes in t ransfer pricing legislation, corporate profit tax, value added tax and new legislation on combat ing corruption and money laundering.
Yaroslav Romanchuk s um med up the discussion and confirm ed the readiness of the International Legal Center EUCON to hold such events if required and on topics of interest to Polish companies . He also offered to prompt ly inform taxpayers on the recent legislative changes and the possible legal consequences fo r its implementation .
