The team of the EUCON Legal Group, gladly accepting the offer and supporting Belarusian colleagues, spoke at a seminar on migration and starting a business in neighbouring and European countries for IT professionals from Belarus, which took place on September 25, 2020 online.
EUCON experts became lecturers in two blocks at once: within the first block “Migration and opening a business in the EU on the example of Poland” spoke an Attorney at Law, head of the EUCON Legal Group in Warsaw Andrii Romanchuk and Senior Lawyer of the Polish office of EUCON Inha Livandovska, and Yaroslav Romanchuk, an Attorney at Law, Managing Partner of the EUCON Legal Group, and Maria Lipina, an Attorney at Law, adviser, spoke about the nuances of doing business in Ukraine and migration policy.
The seminar was opened by Andrii Romanchuk, who shared with listeners professional experience, told about the peculiarities of company registration, the nuances of the tax system and the benefits of starting a business in Poland.
Mr. Romanchuk pointed out that Poland is the best option to enter the European market due to the constant economic development, flexible and open tax system, profitable financial instruments, legal conditions for business creation and educational resources.
Inha Livandovska focused on migration policy issues, in particular on how to obtain the right to permanent and temporary residence permit for foreigners in Poland, what nuances you should know about employment in Poland, as well as the peculiarities of accounting and tax services for businesses.
Yaroslav Romanchuk within the second block of the seminar expressed support to Belarusian colleagues and told about ways to register their own business in Ukraine for foreigners, conditions for the IT sphere in Ukraine, joint activities and projects with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, pros and cons of the tax system of Ukraine, work on a simplified tax system for non-residents, as well as accounting and tax services for businesses. In addition, Mr. Romanchuk provided advice on choosing the right and profitable ways to transfer IT business to Ukraine and re-employ the company’s employees.
Maria Lipina’s report covered the issues of Ukraine’s migration policy, in particular the rules of entry and stay in Ukraine, obtaining a permanent and temporary residence permit for foreigners in Ukraine, the list of persons who have a basis for obtaining an immigration permit to Ukraine. The expert also spoke about special quotas for IT specialists, the peculiarities of employment of foreigners in Ukraine and the purchase of real estate in Ukraine.
