The Kyiv city authority and the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter – the Chamber) agreed to provide for mutual assistance on popularization of Kyiv among the Polish entrepreneurs and take measures to stimulate the attraction of foreign investments. Thus, on July 30, 2015 the Memorandum on Cooperation between the city of Kyiv and the Chamber was signed by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and by the President of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce Jacek Piechota. ‘I am sure that Ukrainian vacant market will serve a good ground for development of Polish business. We should fully materialize the potential of our relation for common advantage’, said Klitschko after the signing ceremony.
In his turn, Jacek Piechota emphasized that the signing the memorandum will enable to expand cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian business and expressed hope for deepening the fruitful cooperation aiming at achievement of actual results by the implementation of business ideas. He also invited Vitali Klitschko to visit Warsaw to take part in business forum.
Yaroslav Romanchuk, Vice-President of the Chamber, managing partner of International Legal Center EUCON presented the book to Kyiv Mayor ‘Business Law of the Republic of Poland for Ukrainian investors’, which was published by ILC EUCON month ago in Ukrainian language. He underlined that ‘it is important always to rely on legal norms in managerial decision making’. And this is relevant to both business and government.
