The Polish government started to deploy the programme of support to the economic development of Ukraine. On June 30 – July 1, 2016 a two-day conference on the inauguration of the “Polish Development Assistance – 2016” project by the Ministry of the Republic of Poland was held in Kyiv.
In particular, on June 30 at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Club, the first day of the conference entitled “Increasing the investment attractiveness and competitiveness of the regions of Ukraine” took place.
The second day – July 1 – was devoted to presentations of the Polish Business Mission to Kyiv region at the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
Managing partner of the International Legal Center EUCON, president of the Association of Ukrainian business in Poland Yaroslav Romanchuk highlighted the practical aspects of entering the Polish market by Ukrainian businesses. Poland is a strategic partner of Ukraine in exports to the EU, that is why Ukrainian producers consider Poland to be a suitable jurisdiction for foreign economic activity on the territory of the European Union.
The event was held with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Development, member of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland Jerzy Kwieciński, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine Henryk Litwin, Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Natalia Mykolska and others.
