Poland is a springboard for entry into the EU? On June 16, Andrii Romanchuk, attorney at law, partner, and head of the Warsaw office of EUCON, talked about opportunities and business prospects for Ukrainian startups in Poland during an online meeting from the startup accelerator ISE Corporate Accelerator.

In particular, the expert noted the positive experience of effective use by Poland of European pre-financing, which is provided on favorable terms.

The lecturer revealed aspects of the practical experience of legal support of startups in Poland, focusing on profitable funding programs for startups.

Andrii Romanchuk outlined various financial and investment instruments available to Ukrainian entrepreneurs in the Polish market. In his opinion, one of the promising tools is the use of regional programs at the voivodship level.

The speaker stressed that the difference between Polish and Ukrainian startups is the ease involvement of finance in Poland but did not overlook the features and possible difficulties of the procedure for creating a legal entity in Poland.

The topic of financing startups relocated to Poland, which was discussed during the speech, should be singled out. The expert outlined the features of the relocation procedure and the benefits that startups should use.

Mr. Romanchuk also stressed the diversity and accessibility of co-financing and grant programs for startups, especially in the eastern regions of Poland, where the market is less developed, and the number of programs is larger.
