The last summer day, August 31, 2022, marked an important event in the context of the first steps in the implementation of a large-scale and ambitious renovation – the forum “Odbudowa Ukrainy – Konsultacje branżowe” (“Rebuilding Ukraine – Sector Consultation”), held in Warsaw and organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency PAIH and the Ministry of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland (Ministerstwo Rozwoju i Technologii). Yaroslav Romanchuk, managing partner of EUCON, was a guest expert at the event.
The discussion was focused on three blocks of panel discussions: Polish and Ukrainian tools of support in the process of reconstruction of Ukraine; tenders of international institutions for Ukraine – current needs and procedures; Polish and Ukrainian tenders for Ukraine – opportunities and barriers.
Yaroslav Romanchuk was a member of the expert group for consulting businessmen in the field of agriculture and food industry.
After discussing the overall current state of agriculture in Ukraine, during the consultation business owners learned from the expert about the peculiarities of agricultural and food exports to Ukraine under war conditions, about the investment climate in this area in Ukraine, about the problems faced by investors and foreign entrepreneurs, about the differences between Ukrainian and Polish legislation in the context of this industry, about financing and financial instruments from Poland, which are available for entrepreneurs involved in this.
