On 24-26 January in Lodz (Poland) took place an annual IX EUROPE-UKRAINE Forum, which brought together nearly 500 participants from Ukraine, EU, Russia, neighboring countries and the United States: government representatives, politicians, businessmen, local governments, international organizations and think tanks.
Managing partner of the International Legal Center EUCON Yaroslav Romanchuk, who is the President of Ukrainian Business Association in Poland, was invited to participate in the Forum as a speaker. In his speech, Yaroslav spoke not only about the legal issues of starting and doing business in Poland and Ukraine, but also informed the participants about the public initiatives of protecting interests of Polish entrepreneurs in Ukraine and Ukrainian investors in Poland. In particular, the audience was interested in activities of Ukrainian Business Association in Poland and International Society of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine.
Yaroslav Romanchuk presented his speech as part of the “Economic advantages and opportunities of Ukraine” session, which was also attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Natalia Nikolska, a member of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency Michael Dabrowski, President of the Eastern Association of German economy Marcus Felsner, President of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce Jacek Piechota and others (for more details see the programme of the Forum).
