On Ukrainian Independence Day a concert STAND UP with UKRAINE! was held in the Polish capital, where the Educational Center Children of Ukraine together with the Warsaw Marriott Hotel and EUCON Legal Group organized a program of performances with Ukrainian children for Ukrainian resettled families.
Before the concert, co-founder of the Educational Center Children of Ukraine Nataliya Voloshko and partner, head of the Warsaw office of EUCON and mentor of the project Andrii Romanchuk presented to participants the activities of the Foundation ECCU in the vectors of educational support of Ukrainian resettled children in Poland. Thus, the ECCU was founded by teachers from Kharkiv on the basis of a school for Ukrainian children that they created in Warsaw. The school will operate under a Ukrainian license from the Ministry of Education and Science, in accordance with which the educational process will be based on the Ukrainian school program. The school will start working on September 1 this year.
The event was officially opened with a welcoming speech by the Charge d’Affaires ad interim of Ukraine in Poland Oleg Kutz and Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Aldona Makhnowska-Gora.
The concert featured performances by Ukrainian children’s groups and solo performers, including the Singing Team of UA, the Children’s Ballet Theatre (Kharkiv), the Pastoral Choir (Kyiv) and an instrumental quartet.
The concert was attended by special guests and performers from around the world: Brian Allan (Poland), Kelsey Rae (USA), Daria Kozyk, Kateryna Bezugla (Ukraine) and others.
