Developing future: EUCON became a partner of the International construction exhibition BUILD4FUTURE

From January 30 to February 3, the International Construction Forum BUILD4FUTURE takes place in Poznań, organized by MTP Group and the Polish Association of Construction Employers (Polski Związek Pracodawców Budownictwa) with the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), Export Credit Insurance Corporation, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and Łukasiewicz Research Network. The International Construction and Architecture Exhibition BUDMA 2023 is also taking place within the framework of the forum, which takes place in the Poznań Congress Center on the territory of the Poznań International Fair.

EUCON became an industry partner of the event and a participant in the exhibition, an attorney, a managing partner of the company, and chairman of the board of the Association of Ukrainian Business in Poland Yaroslav Romanchuk spoke during the International Polish-Ukrainian Construction Convention (Międzynarodową Konwencję Budownictwo Polska-Ukraina) – an event held onsecond-dayd day forum, January 31. At the exhibition, the company was presented by Doctor of Law, a senior lawyer, deputy head of the practice of construction law and real estate Olha Sushyk.

The BUILD4FUTURE forum is an event with the participation of recognized and experienced experts in the fields of construction, economics and other specialized specialists, representatives of state bodies and public organizations, which is dedicated to a broad analysis of the construction market in Poland and Europe, in particular in the context of crisis phenomena, war and prospects for the participation of Polish and European construction companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The International Polish-Ukrainian Construction Convention, for its part, became the first meeting of representatives of European business in Poland, dedicated exclusively to construction and real estate issues in the context of the reconstruction of to find finding answers to questions about the specifics and aspects of the involvement of Polish and European companies in reconstruction, on questions related to the current state of cooperation with the Ukrainian market in the field of construction.

Yaroslav Romanchuk became a speaker within the framework of the first discussion panel “Concepts of rebuilding Ukraine and the participation of the Polish construction sector in it. Forum of practical experience of the construction industry in Ukraine – the experience of Polish companies”. Mr. Yaroslav and his fellow panelistspanellistsd the peculiarities, experiences and insights of conducting construction business in Ukraine before the war and in current conditions. The experts also considered the issues of certification for Polish companies and issuing licenses for conducting activities in Ukraine, implementation of European rules and restrictions on the Ukrainian market, in particular changes in legislation regarding the economic sphere, future risks and difficulties for Polish business and ways to prevent them, existing barriers for entry into the construction market, openness of the Ukrainian market for international companies, establishment of business relations in wartime, ways to improve the situation with financial transparency of business activities, as well as the issue of work on improving the functioning of agriculture in Ukraine.

The panel members also became: Shimon Vashchyn – CEO of Bolix Ukraine sp. z o. o.; Karol Kubica – head of PAIH foreign trade office in Kyiv; Roman Babak – president of the board of TB Group, secretary of the Polish-Ukrainian construction convention; Leszek Golambecki – president of the board of Unibep SA; Prof. Hennadiy Farenyuk – director of the State Research Institute of Building Structures of Ukraine; Oleksandr Baranovskyi – project coordinator of the National Association of Architects of Ukraine.
