On 28–29 May 2026, the V Foreign Investment Congress was held in Kyiv, bringing together 322 participants from 36 countries worldwide. Over two days, the Congress served as an international platform for dialogue between representatives of government, business, foreign investors, diplomatic missions, and local communities, aimed at fostering investment cooperation and supporting Ukraine’s recovery.
The program featured 19 panel discussions, as well as presentations of the investment potential of Ukrainian cities, communities, and regional development agencies. In addition, the Congress included a workshop by the Horizon Europe Office and a practical masterclass, dedicated to financial instruments for supporting veterans’ businesses.
The Congress addressed key issues of sustainable recovery of Ukraine, infrastructure development, the creation of a favorable environment for investors, and strengthening energy security. Particular attention was given to the prospects of developing agriculture, construction, the defense sector, and dual-use technologies, including MilTech and DefenceTech.
Discussions also focused on cybersecurity, the development of veteran entrepreneurship, and strengthening human capital.
